About Drunk Monk

Drunk Monk is an independent studio making small, social games you can start in a few clicks, including Hex Path and Snap Judgments.

Published

Drunk Monk makes small, social games for the table, the browser, and the group chat. Our games start in a few clicks, need no download or account, and work just as well with friends on one couch as with friends across the world.

What we make

Hex Path

A tile-laying path game for two to six players. Lay a tile, follow your path, avoid the edge, and loop back through your own trail for doubling points. Play locally against six computer opponents with different personalities, or online with a shareable room link. Read the rules or start playing.

Snap Judgments

A two-player deduction game with a satirical edge. Each player hides a secret face among sixteen, and the questions are roasts instead of facts, so you have to read your opponent as well as the board. Read the rules or create a game.

An iPhone and iPad version of Snap Judgments is coming to the App Store, with nearby play, pass-and-play, and custom packs built from your own photos. Learn more.

How we work

  • No account needed. You can play every game anonymously in the browser. Signing in is optional.
  • Shaped by player feedback. Every game has a feedback button. Bug reports include the game state, so we can replay exactly what happened and fix it.
  • Shipped often. We release small updates regularly and list player-facing changes in our changelog.
  • Made for everyone at the table. The games are available in English, German, Spanish, French, and Russian, and they work on phones, tablets, and desktop browsers.

Guides and rules

We write detailed guides for our games: full rules, strategy, scoring math, how the computer opponents think, house rules, and tips for game night. Browse them all in the guides section.

A note on satire

Snap Judgments uses exaggerated character traits and roast-style prompts as comic fiction. The characters aren't real people, and the prompts don't represent the views of the people who make the game. The game is made for adults who enjoy that kind of humor. If a pack isn't right for your group, choose another or build your own.
